The Bear Liberation Front is training new operatives at Burning Man this year. We would like to take advantage of any fun and interesting activities that your camp may be producing to integrate into our training system. New BLF operatives will get missions from “Mission Control” and that’s where you come in. There are a LOT of activities on the playa that could be used in superspy training, and we’d love to take advantage of a few.
To attain operative status, our inductees must earn 1 espionage badge, 1 combat badge, and 1 intelligence gathering badge. For superspy status, the requirements are, of course, much higher! We would like to find camps that would like to help us out with anything spy-worthy.
For example, if you have a costuming theme, we could give an espionage badge to anyone that attends one of your events. If you have a self-defense demonstration, we could give a combat badge to anyone completing your course. If your camp hates teddy bears and all they stand for, you could help us with the espionage theme. If you are interested, please contact us at blf2007@googlegroups.com.
